Ilikai 2028 - This condo was perfect for our long belated honeymoon. We stayed on the 20th floor which was perfect for watching the fireworks from the HHV. We had views of diamond head and the ocean. My only recommendation would be to add a little WD40 to one of the glass sliding doors that opens up to the lanai. We enjoyed opening them up at night to feel the trade winds breeze, but one was hard to close. Be sure to turn off the air conditioner when not in the room as electric in Hawaii is at least 3 times more expensive than it is on the mainland. This condo/hotel has so much history from the days of the original Hawaii Five-O. The Chin-Ho tree is stunning and there is free entertainment on Friday and Sunday nights in the courtyard. It's a very short walk to the lagoon, Waikiki beach, and the marina. Lots of stuff to do within walking distance and a very short distance to a pick up point for tour busses (right in front of k-pop donuts). Cinnamon's and Dave's Ice cream are on the main floor of the Ilikai along with a few stores. Be sure to stop in Dave's for 2$ Tuesdays and for breakfast at Cinnamon's. Even though this place can be busy, especially after the fireworks, it is still very laid back. It's much more chill and family oriented at this end of the beach than being down by the Outrigger Reef which is where we stayed over 10 yrs ago. A lot has changed in Waikiki since then. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay than the Ilikai and look forward to coming back next year.

Ilikai 2028 - We just spent 12 nights at this condo and highly recommend it. The bed and pillows are really comfortable, the shower is good and there was always plenty of hot water, the air con works great, as does the breeze from the lanai, which was important as we had 33 degree heat for the whole trip. The condo kitchen is well stocked with everything you could possibly need for cooking, (except a tea kettle which we picked up at Target for $13), (Owner: All units have electric tea kettle, if missing could have called cleaning and they would have brought you a new one right away) which was great as the food in Honolulu wasn't good. (Unless you really like deep fried, crumbed meat and fries with very little salads or veges). The unit is clean and in a great position. Perfect spot to watch the fireworks display from the Hilton next door on Friday nights. (Hilton was nuts, so many people, their pools were constantly overfull with a lot of screaming children, whereas ours was lovely and private). Nice pool, and another separate shallow pool for toddlers and a quick walk to beach, buses and shopping. As we had prepaid, access was easy using the keypad. We enjoyed the privacy of having a 4 star hotel class room without having to pay the expensive resort charges. Extras were having the separate elevator for coming from the pool or beach and having the massage place in the building along with it's own ice cream parlour! Dealing with the owner was easy - great, prompt communication and everything was exactly as was advertised. Nothing to complain about at all.

Ilikai 2028 - Perfect venue for me and my 2 teenagers on our first visit to Waikiki, stayed here 7 days. Fabulous condo exactly like the pictures, stunning as views and staff from the Ilikai are professional and excellent. This is waaay better than a hotel room, and has a personal feeling about it, for relaxation. Close to everything you come to Waikiki for, beach, lagoon, cinnamons, ABC, AlaMoana if you wanna shop, transport (although I hired a car and drove everywhere). Stunning local entertainment in the lobby, outside under the tree, poolside and fireworks on Friday. This is best end of Waikiki away from the hustle of central city, and just a 10 min walk on the boardwalk or $7 taxi if you want to get downtown. Try walking through the Hilton on your way to the lagoon or beach and check out the yellow prawn truck right in the corner of the carpark by the lagoon. Cinnamons is great, and hang out on your lanai evenings and watch the Hilton Village show for free lols. Anyways....absolutely loved this condo, and I will definitely be a returning guest. Ilikai 2028 - My family and I stayed in 2028 and 2030 at the Ilikai during our visit to Hawaii - what a great experience! Everything was seamless as all the information was made available to us before our check in, rooms were clean and ready for us to enjoy. On top of that, we got the early check in for a small fee which made the first day there a lot easier! Both condos had GREAT views and were very close to the elevator. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone!!

Ilikai 2028 - First time to Hawaii, first time to Waikiki, LOVED IT. The Ilikai was recommended by friends who had previously stayed there and we were not disappointed. The condo was spacious for our week's stay and had all the amenities to ensure we were comfortable. Good size balcony and our view of the nearby lagoon lovely. Full kitchen fridge in the nice size kitchen, helped in that we could shop and look after ourselves from some meals during our stay. We enjoyed being away from the busier end of town of Waikiki but it was easy to get there when we wanted to visit, either by bus or walking along the beach. Having a little general shop on the ground floor was handy as was the ABC shop just across the road. All up, a great place to stay. Cheers from Julie & Darryl, Australia.

This was our first trip to Hawaii and it was amazing. We were pleasantly surprised by the Ilikai condo 2028 and its accommodations. The photos were very current and the view was better than described. Being able to see the ocean, lagoon, and diamond head was amazing. Plus the lenai was the perfect spot to watch the Friday night fireworks. Within walking distance of most anything and no need to have a car because there is a bus/trolley stop right out front. Thank you for sharing your condo!

The unit is outstanding, it is spacious, clean and has modern furniture to make you feel at home (while you are away from home). The view is amazing and is perfect for sitting out and enjoying the Friday night Fireworks next door. The Lanai is very large with nice outdoor furniture to enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail! New updated kitchen and appliances really makes it easy to make your own meals (a second frying pan would be handy however). The free WIFI and long distance calling to Canada/US is a very nice added touch to keep in touch with family. I would recommend this unit to anyone who is looking. A++, you will not be disappointed!!

We've visited Hawaii annually for the past twenty plus years and this is the first time that we have experienced staying in a condominium. We were absolutely delighted with our selection of Ilikai's #2029 which over ten days offered so much at a very high standard and gave us the independence that we were seeking. There was not one hitch from start to finish. You can't ask for anything better than that. We loved the proximity to the yacht harbour, the water and of course the easy walk to the Ala Moana Shopping Centre. A home away from home. An Ilikai condominium will be our first consideration next time we visit Waikiki.

We had another wonderful time staying at the Ilikai. The room and view was perfect just like the last one we stayed in. I like how the Ilikai is not stuck in the busiest part of Waikiki and it is only a short walk to the busier areas. We highly recommend this to our friends and family!

My husand and I recently stayed at the Ilikai, unit #2028 for 2 1/2wks. It was everything we expected and more. This is our 4th time to Hawaii so we decided to rent a condo this time which was the best decision we made. It was nice to having a full kitchen with all the appliances, big and small. The location was excellent. I was able to go jogging at the Ala Moana Beach Park every morning which was only a 7 minute warm up away. The mall was a short walk away also. The condo was spotless and the 42 TV was perfect for my husband. Having free WIFI was very convenient for us. We were able to stay in touch with family and friends on a regular basis. We are looking forward to booking again next year at the same time. Mahalo!
