 Ilikai Unit 1426

"Upon arrival we had no issues getting into our condo 1426. Condo 1426 was very nice. Beautiful views as the entire condo was windows. At the time of our stay, the condo had 4 Tommy Bahama beach chairs in the closet and we used them everyday. The beds were comfortable. It is an electric stovetop and the one knob was very touchy, accidentally leaned against it to get to toaster and it turned the stovetop on, so just be cautious of that. We had read the Luau show at the Hilton was on Friday night, so we prepared to watch that from our balcony. But the Hilton must've changed some things. The Friday and Saturday Luau shows were on the lawn at the Hilton, so not visible for us. However, they had shows that were visible to us on Tuesday, Wed and Thursday. There are fireworks on Friday night also, but we could really only see the really high ones as the tell Hilton Tower blocked the view. We visited the little ice cream shop on the lower level almost every night. They do have punch cards - so be sure to get one. After 10 punches, you get a free one. The restaurant on site, Cinnamon's, was closed indefinitely while we were there. The laundry is only $3.00 for wash and $3.00 for dryer. It does put an $8.00 hold on your card, but only the $3.00 is charged in the end. The condo did have enough dishwasher tablets and paper towels for us. We did have to buy extra garbage bags. We had just enough toilet paper to get us thru the week. If you are staying for more then a few days, bring your own shampoo and soap, as there is just a small bar of soap and a hotel size shampoo. There are 5 elevators, but at times it would take awhile to finally catch one. Overall we had absolutely no major issues with the condo and it was lovely. Enjoy!!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the #1924 condo at the Ilikai. The description and pictures were perfectly accurate. Even the wall pictures were accurately placed as the photos. When my friend and I arrived we were so surprised at the beauty of the unit, including the well-appointed kitchen, large fridge, light fixtures and the furniture. The whole unit was impeccable with every attention to detail captured. The bathroom was spacious with a lovely shower. The view was beyond amazing. Every morning and evening I was on the balcony looking out at the beautiful beach shoreline and far out to the sea. The patio furniture was comfy, too. In the evenings, we enjoyed the television and snacking from the kitchen. The only sad part of the trip was when it was time to leave! This will be my favorite go-to unit in Honolulu! "Ilikai 1802 - I'll start by saying, this website was easy to book on and our trip went flawlessly! 1802 condo was very comfortable, well equipped with basic kitchen necessities and nicely decorated, conveniently located with very nice views. There's no check-in just go straight to your room and enter your door code super simple. Being close to the elevator wasn't a noise problem at all and it's actually a total plus! it makes it easy for those quick room runs and also close to the trash bins without negative noise effects at all. The view is very nice and mostly private you can definitely leave the curtains open comfortably. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this website and condo. Mahalo."

"Ilikai 1818 - This is our second time staying at Ilikai and it didn’t disappoint. Firstly I want to thank our owner Mr Chen for agreeing to extend our credit from before Covid hit. Unit was clean and as described. 2 bed and a pull out lounge; loved having the kitchen so we could eat come meals at home. Massive balcony overlooking the beach and lagoon. Beds were comfy, bathroom adequate, shower just needed a little more pressure but was ok. Close to the lifts and laundry room which are now card activated."

"In 2022, we stayed in condo 2016 for 11 nights; and in 2023, we stayed in condo 2022 for 31 nights. Both condos were comfortable and pleasant. The views of the ocean and the lagoon are beautiful and the weather was very mild. We enjoyed weekly concerts and fireworks. We had many opportunities to exercise by the beach and in Waikiki neighborhood. We visited many respectable restaurants in the area and enjoyed very tasty meals, especially seafood varieties. For transportation, we bought passes on "The Bus" service which made our movement very flexible and reasonable in cost. Thanks to the many bus routes, we were able to visit several museums, Pearl Harbor and the very enjoyable Polynesian Cultural Center. We did our shopping for groceries from Walmart, Target and Safeway for fair pricing. God willing, we will probably go back next year or the year after. We strongly recommend Waikiki Beach Rentals for their support and cooperative spirit. Good luck . . ."

"Ilikai 2033 - Our stay at the Ilikai was lovely. Condo 2033 is exactly as advertised. Beautifully renovated and super quiet. The unobstructed view, overlooking the pier was probably our favorite feature. We spent many evenings walking the grounds of the Hilton Hawaiian Village. The access to so many restaurants was a plus. The kitchen was modestly equipped and there wasn’t an ice maker. Ice trays were provided. The beds were very comfortable but the fitted sheets had been replaced with flat sheets. This may be a standard practice throughout the Ilikai but it’s not my personal preference. All in all, this was a good choice for our family of three."

"Wow! What a fabulous Condo, it was everything it said it would be. Amazing views from all areas, especially the living room. Very large balconies. Very nicely decorated and furnished throughout. Well equipped kitchen. Only minor issues such as some marks on main carpet, and the rug in the living area is a bit of a trip hazard. But this does not diminish how beautiful this condo is, so spacious, light and airy. Would definitely book to stay here again. This has definitely raised the bar for luxury accommodation. The Ilikai is set in lovely grounds. Impressive lobby and never waited long for the elevators. Also Shout out to Waikiki Beach Rentals for great communication and fast response to any queries we had. Don’t hesitate if you are considering this condo, just book it. You will not be disappointed!"

On arrival it was very smooth using the key code provided and the apartment was very clean and tidy. "We loved this unit , it was very clean and the photos don’t do it justice , great views of lagoon, ocean and Marina , we usually stay at the Hilton next door but this has been my favourite accommodation on all of our trips to Hawaii. The unit has washing machine and dryer which fantastic . The unit is very light , airy and spacious . Loved that the door has a door code and not a key or card so didn’t have to carry that around . I found Waikiki rentals also fantastic to deal with and very responsive to any emails I sent prior to arriving . Unit is close to everything like Alamona shopping centre and a short walk up to main part of Waikiki. Would stay here again"

 Ilikai Unit 2028

"Ilikai 2028 - This condo was perfect for our long belated honeymoon. We stayed on the 20th floor which was perfect for watching the fireworks from the HHV. We had views of diamond head and the ocean. My only recommendation would be to add a little WD40 to one of the glass sliding doors that opens up to the lanai. We enjoyed opening them up at night to feel the trade winds breeze, but one was hard to close. Be sure to turn off the air conditioner when not in the room as electric in Hawaii is at least 3 times more expensive than it is on the mainland. This condo/hotel has so much history from the days of the original Hawaii Five-O. The Chin-Ho tree is stunning and there is free entertainment on Friday and Sunday nights in the courtyard. It's a very short walk to the lagoon, Waikiki beach, and the marina. Lots of stuff to do within walking distance and a very short distance to a pick up point for tour busses (right in front of k-pop donuts). Cinnamon's and Dave's Ice cream are on the main floor of the Ilikai along with a few stores. Be sure to stop in Dave's for 2$ Tuesdays and for breakfast at Cinnamon's. Even though this place can be busy, especially after the fireworks, it is still very laid back. It's much more chill and family oriented at this end of the beach than being down by the Outrigger Reef which is where we stayed over 10 yrs ago. A lot has changed in Waikiki since then. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay than the Ilikai and look forward to coming back next year."

"Ilikai 2030 - We stayed all of October 2022 in Condo 2030. We are a couple, and our nephew joined us at the end of the second week. There was plenty of room for us all. Such a great place to stay. We are missing the great views and great weather. This condo had everything that we needed, except a 3rd chair for the Lanai. (My only complaint about our Condo) We spent time at either one of the 2 pools everyday and we loved the relaxed atmosphere. We utilised the Pink Line Trolley, which was $5 for the day, hop on hop off to get around Waikiki. It was great for getting into Waikiki, shopping at Ala Moana shopping centre and then it drops you at the front of the Ilikai. There are shops on the ground floor. If you want a great coffee, a snack or cake grab it from Aromas. Good quality and good service. My final comments have to be about the Ilikai and our Condo. Fantastic, Fantastic, Fantastic . The complete Aloha feel. This is our 15 trip to the Ilikai so yes we love everything about staying here. Mahalo once again for our fantastic memories."

"Ilikai 533 - Excellent Apartment, Lovely Hotel, Super comfy bed, great kitchen facilities. The apartment was tastefully decorated, provided a comfortable balcony. It was clean and well maintained. Re-furbished bathroom and everything you require for an awesome time in Hawaii. Other facilities like the Pool was nice and relaxing, the restaurant and shops downstairs were great. Trolley bus stop out the front. Great walking distance to the Waikiki. Loved the lagoon and Friday night fireworks. I would highly recommend staying at the Ilikai Apartments. "My family of 4 stayed in Condo #1506 in August 2022, and we loved everything about it! From the moment we entered the Ilikai to the moment we left, we cannot say enough positive things about it! The condo itself is exactly as described on the website. Everything was new, and clean and we had everything we needed for the few meals we cooked. While I prefer a washer and dryer in the unit, it wasn't terrible to walk down to the laundry room. The location of the Ilikai was perfect. The fact that parking was only $1/hr was a deal MAKER for us! Cinnamon's in the back was excellent. Aroma cafe was our go-to every morning! And last but not least, every time we walked into the lobby, DAVE'S ICE CREAM called our names. So we topped off our nights with Ice cream while sitting out back on the huge outdoor lanai! LOVE LOVE LOVE the Ilikai and condo #1506! NOTE: Washers & Dryers are NOT allowed in any condos. There is a laundry room near the elevators for your laundry needs."

"Ilikai 1535 - Thank you to Waikiki Beach rentals. We stated in condo 1535. I couldn't have asked for a better view of the marina. We were right next to a bus stop and close to everything we needed. As for the condo itself, I loved it. It was clean, everything worked well, the bed was clean and was extremely comfortable. We had no issues whatsoever with getting into the room, such an easy process. We had absolutely everything we needed in this condo. We will definitely be back and straight back into condo 1535... "It was a beautiful stay at unit 1522. It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The sofa can be turned into a futon bed. And the view in the lanai was amazing. We loved waking up every morning to such a beautiful view! It was a walk away to the lagoon. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel. There is a mini market that opens until late within the hotel. Loved the location and the convenience of our stay! The trash room is conveniently located next to the elevator just down the hall from the room. We will definitely book unit 1522 again for future stay!"

"Nice condo and view of the Harbor. Sat on the lanai a lot when we were actually in the condo. Leaving the door open we had a good breeze. We only ran the air at night. The bed was comfortable and the shower had good pressure. The kitchen sink water pressure was low, but I really didn’t care about that. The dishwasher worked fine and the place was clean. Conveniently located, the trash bin room was right by us and so was the laundry which took debit cards, I appreciated that. Had no issues with door dash deliveries. I could not see the Friday night fireworks from our balcony, but if you go down to the courtyard in the back you could see them just fine. I had no issue with sound even though the courtyard is right below. There was one night the music was loud but it ended at nine so really no issue. I highly recommend stopping at an ABC store and buying a beach umbrella and beach items like floats or boogie boards. I also advise getting over to the north shore beaches, they are gorgeous! The beach right behind the condos is very rocky, but you can walk further out on the shore line to left or right and beaches are better. I was lazy and Ubered everywhere I went but you are in a good location and can easily walk to a lot of places. Also the mall up the street is fabulous. We did walk there. I stayed with my 22 year old daughter. I would not have liked the unit for more than two grown people. There is a pull out, but I was told it was meant more for little ones than grown ups. Kitchen is stocked with pots pans silver ware and dishes a strainer, toaster and coffee maker. There was another gadget but I did not check it out and if I recall correctly they had a blender. What they did not have or I did not see was a cookie sheet. I recommend a private tour. I used @oahuwithlia. She was fabulous. I fell in love with Oahu, Hawaii and have every intention of returning some day. I would definitely book this exact unit again if it is available. One more thing to note they only have one snorkel fin set in the closet no other beach amenities. We bought some boogie boards and gave them away on our last day there. I saw a lot of passing on of beach gear as people were leaving. Also surfing lessons from Faith Surf School was excellent and they are close. Again you could walk there but we took an Uber. If you are looking at the condo I would recommend you book it, could be a comfortable stay for two adults and two or less children."

"Ilikai 306 - This was an absolute great place to stay. the staff were amazing and corrected the few very minor issues with the suite immediately and with great efficiency. the suite has everything you need and you are close to shopping to get anything you are forgetting or need. the BUS is outside the door for easy island access and there is a car rental on the property you if you need one. highly recommend and we will be back"

"Ilikai 2110 - Truly amazing views of the city and ocean!!! My family and I stayed a week in Condo 2110 and everything was great. Check in and check out was seamless. The condo was spacious and provided all the amenities we needed. The beds were comfortable, and everything was clean. The furniture in the living and dining area were worn out, obviously from frequent guests, but it wasn't an issue; we didn't spend a lot of time in the room. And when we did, it was comfortable, and did I mention the views??!! The views were breathtaking no matter what time of day it was. Would definitely stay here again."

"Ilikai 1539 - I have stayed at a different apartment in the Ilikai before, but this one was really great. Clean and nicely decorated with a view that was absolutely stunning. The kitchen had the basics and shoutout to whoever was there before us and left the ice trays full 10/10. The bed was large and quite comfortable and you had a great view outside even from the bed! The lanai was beautiful and the furniture was quite nice. I would definitely stay here again when I return to Oahu."

The unit was clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Walking distance to countless amenities: Ala Moana shopping centre, grassed park surrounding ocean lagoon for family swimming, immediate access to the stores and restaurants of Waikiki either by sidewalk or beach walk, surfing, boogie boarding, or playing in the surf is just out the "backdoor". "Ilikai 510 - We really enjoyed our stay at the Ilikai. The apartment - with two bedrooms and two bathrooms - was perfect for our group and the location couldn't have been better. The view from the main lanai is great, and the walk to the lagoon and beach is only a couple of minutes. We had lunch at Pesca, and the food was excellent and reasonable priced, especially considering the amazing view! The service was also fantastic. We rented a paddle board from Chris on the lobby level, and if we had more time, we would have engaged in more water sports he had on offer. We recommend unit 510 and hope to be able to stay there again in the future. Thanks!"

 Ilikai Unit 1609

"Ilikai 1609 - I love the Ilikai. Perfect location, so much better than central Waikiki. The building's solidity (never heard a neighbor once) and its informal elegance, which doesn't feel dated despite the building's age. I also loved the Waikikibeachrentals setup, interface and organization. Everything just works right-- you get your door code and you take the elevator up to your vacation home. And that's what it felt like, a home. Public spaces were comfortable, agreeable places to hang out, stores and the restaurant were OK values for HNL. Super convenient washing machines and garbage/recycling on every floor. City side condo only gets direct sun in the mornings so you don't need to run the AC all day. And with a corner unit, once the sun goes down just open up both lanais and a wonderful cross breeze blows all the way through. Just one single negative when everything else was great: it's time for the owner to upgrade the mattresses. For young people it won't be a problem, but older folks or those who are accustomed to actual hotel-quality bedding may be in for a touch of back pain, especially in the second BR. Didn't diminish our enjoyment though."

 Ilikai Unit 1343

"Ilikai #1343 is unbelievably wonderful. We actually were quite concerned about reserving this condo since it had NO reviews ... and in fact still doesn't. I figured (incorrectly) that the lack of reviews were since the condo was bad news and so were reviews received, and so none were published. But, this place was FANTASTIC. Of course, the biggest thing was the spectacular views. Such a huge panorama of beautiful sites to see looking out. And, if the sun is too bright, the windows all have great shades. There are two lanais with a total of 4 sliding glass doors. And, all the windows and doors were very clean ensuring a great view all the time. There are 3 separate air conditioning units that kept the condo very comfortable. The lanais had these little barrel chairs that look kind of funny. They were fairly comfortable. But, importantly, they swivel! Turns out with such a wide vista, that was very important and wonderful. The carpeting inside the condo seems quite new and very comfortable to walk on. The bed was very comfortable. The TV worked great. We've stayed in about 35 condos in Hawaii and some elsewhere, and we've stayed in lots of places all around Oahu. But, Ilikai #1343 is definitely one of our favorites. The only negatives. Hmmm. One AC unit (in the living area) made a frequent annoying noise when it drains ... even after the unit has been off for a while. I'm sure that can be fixed. Oh, and the kitchen faucet is loose. That needs to be tightened up. There is no dishwasher ... not a big deal for a short stay. But, otherwise, this place exceeded expectations, and not by a little, but by a LOT. I can't recommend it highly enough."

"Ilikai 1506 - We recently spent a month in this unit and found it exactly as the pictures and descriptions indicated. The unit was very homey and it is evident the owners take great pride in the condition of their rental. We did have one hiccup with the phone, however this was fixed very quickly. We were not aware that there is no onsite management so all questions/concerns must be done online, any questions were quickly answered and acted on. One suggestion would be to have a list of what is included in the kitchen so the inventory could be kept current, given we were staying a month we did have to to purchase a few basic items. The air conditioning was extremely quiet and the curtains kept out the heat of the afternoon perfectly. The Ilikai is a nice well kept building, the pool area is very nice and well managed. The location is very close to the bus, shopping malls, and great places which are close to walk to and also close to Waikiki Beach etc."

"Ilikai 1444 - Awesome unit. We have stayed at the Ilikai for the last 8 years. This is the 1st time through the Waikiki Beach Rentals. Overall...it has been a successful trip. The Unit itself was 5 stars....only hiccup was the TV....but the TV at all the Ilikai units have been spotty.....most due to the remote controls or not have the TV set to the right input ....but that definitely wasn't a show stopper. Always have gotten the beach view....and never get old. The condos at the Ilikai are way cheaper than those at Ko Olina mega resort that starts with A. I'm also a Disney vacation member, and during the summer when we stay in Ko Olina....it runs me around $7-8k for a Villa. Here at the Ilikai it's only $2,5-3k for the same time period, and better location than that of Ko Olina area. Keep in mind when picking a unit.....the sun hits the Beach/Ocean rooms around 9am.....so it warms the place up a bit.....but who kicks it in their rooms, during the day? 1444 unit has 3 A/c units, 2 flat screen TV, full size kitchen with all the plates,Cups, Pans, and etc....coffee maker/rice maker as well. Two balconies with tables and chairs. Unit 1444 has two full size couches....with one being a king size, possibly a queen....Sofa bed. This unit easily sleeps 6, along with 2 bathrooms. Highly recommend Waikiki Beach Rentals when booking your stay in Waikiki."

"We had an absolute blast in this condo. When we arrived, we had the code and walked right in to a room with the best view. Everything in the photos was accurate, the place was comfortable with everything we needed for a week's stay. There were plenty of the necessities and what we didn't have we could find in the store in the lobby. It may have been a bit costlier, but in a pinch, snacks, water, toiletries, and souvenirs were at hand. We loved both pool areas, but spent more time in the upper pool which was less crowded and less noisy. Plenty of seating to distance and we appreciated the limit on number of people. The elevators kept mostly to the limits, but were overloaded on busier parts of the day. The coffee shop in the lobby had the best acai bowls and breakfast. We ate at Cinnamon's once and it was mediocre and then it was closed the rest of our trip for deep cleaning. Staff was pleasant and the ice cream shop smelled divine daily. The location was a short walk to shopping, restaurants, and more in Waikiki. We even walked to Ala Moana shopping center and it wasn't too bad of a trek. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much for offering a quality condo at an affordable price!"

"The condo very clean and was just as pictured. The space was perfect for my family of 5. The ocean views were spectacular. We usually ate on the balcony to enjoy the ocean views/sounds. The condo was clean and had all the amenities( microwave, toaster,coffee maker, iron and ironing board,…) we needed. Bring your own condiments etc,.. (they are not included, to keep the condo free of critters). We cut our meal expenses by being able to cook in the condo. I definitely recommend this condo for your stay. The management was very responsive to any questions. The condo was within a short walk to the beach. We took advantage of the parking garage at Red Lobster rather than the valet parking at the condo building. We will plan on staying here when we return!!"

"Ilikai 1120 - The unit is great, description was accurate. The check-in & check-out process was awesome, no delay or wait! The property management company is very responsive!!! We had a water leak from the bathroom sink on day 2 and a maintenance person came over to the unit and fix the problem same day (wanna say within 4 hours that we notified them). Cleanliness I would rate 4.5/5 only because the refrigerator was not properly cleaned, although it was empty there were visible dirt in the interior (drawer, door shelves) but nothing that we cannot clean ourselves (but I expected it to be cleaned upon our arrival). Great view of Hilton, lagoon and you can see the surfers in the ocean. I am pleased with the location, walking distance to Waikiki beach, several restaurants, Ala Moana Shopping Center & International Market place (15-20min walk). The building’s (NOT THE CONDO UNIT) daily cleanliness can be improved.. there were some trash/dirt in the hallway outside our condo on the last 3-4 days of our stay (we stayed in this condo for 9 days), it doesn’t look like someone cleans the hallway on a daily basis. If you have heavy traffic, vacuuming the area even once a day would make a big difference to make it more cleaner. Having a washer/dryer in each floor is also a good. Overall I have recommended and will recommend this place to family & friends! In fact we are already planning our next trip and we will be staying at Ilikai again. Probably not in this same unit 1120 because we need a 2BR condo however YES I would stay in this unit again if we only need a studio/1BR condo."

"Great location, with easy walkway to the lagoon or beach. Great view with a nice balcony on 20th floor over looking the marina and ocean. Nice decor with all full size kitchen amenities such as coffee maker, toaster and all cooking needs etc. along with usual hotel amenities such as blow dryer, iron, towels, 2 beach towels, etc. Washer and dryer on the floor with trash area. Great ice cream shop in lobby. Unit is perfect for 2 people. 24 hour valet parking cost less than most hotels, no worry about parking. No resort fees, which can run upwards of $50 per night at most hotels. Only suggestions would be better or stronger lighting and a higher toilet. Great value though versus a hotel. I would highly suggest this particular unit if visiting Waikiki."

It was perfect for sitting out on the lanai for breakfast, we could even see the Luau at the Hilton next door and the fireworks which take place every Friday night. The location is so convenient. Walking distance to a couple of ABC stores, Ala Moana shopping centre and beach park and the pink trolley to Waikiki stops right in front of the Ilikai. It was very clean and everything is modern/up-to-date. We sat on the balcony every morning for coffee watching the ocean and had happy hour every night after the beach. It was well fitted out with plenty of crockery, cutlery & glasses. Our room had a kettle which was a bonus! The air conditioner worked well and was quiet. There was plenty of storage space with two large wardrobes/cupboards, two sets of drawers and plenty of cupboard space in the bathroom. This meant we were able to unpack and not live out of our suitcases. We made use of the beach chairs available. The large tv was appreciated by my husband in the evenings. The view over the harbour and out to sea from our balcony/lanai was lovely. We enjoyed coffee from Aromas cafe downstairs each day and the complex is well situated only 15 mins walk from Waikiki main shopping/dining strip. Loved our stay at Ilikai and would happily stay here again."

"Ilikai 2028 - We just spent 12 nights at this condo and highly recommend it. The bed and pillows are really comfortable, the shower is good and there was always plenty of hot water, the air con works great, as does the breeze from the lanai, which was important as we had 33 degree heat for the whole trip. The condo kitchen is well stocked with everything you could possibly need for cooking, (except a tea kettle which we picked up at Target for $13), (Owner: All units have electric tea kettle, if missing could have called cleaning and they would have brought you a new one right away) which was great as the food in Honolulu wasn't good. (Unless you really like deep fried, crumbed meat and fries with very little salads or veges). The unit is clean and in a great position. Perfect spot to watch the fireworks display from the Hilton next door on Friday nights. (Hilton was nuts, so many people, their pools were constantly overfull with a lot of screaming children, whereas ours was lovely and private). Nice pool, and another separate shallow pool for toddlers and a quick walk to beach, buses and shopping. As we had prepaid, access was easy using the keypad. We enjoyed the privacy of having a 4 star hotel class room without having to pay the expensive resort charges. Extras were having the separate elevator for coming from the pool or beach and having the massage place in the building along with it's own ice cream parlour! Dealing with the owner was easy - great, prompt communication and everything was exactly as was advertised. Nothing to complain about at all."

"Ilikai 712 - When we arrived I initially thought we had the wrong address - the Ilikai was much nicer than I had expected. We arrived before our check in time but were able to leave our bags with bell captain (for $1 a bag...bargain). We later found out the place has a great history too. Our condo easily slept 4 (2 x queen beds and a sofa bed). Room was very clean and had everything we needed for a ten night stay. It had a nice size balcony and we had a view of the pool , the lagoon and the ocean so that ticked all of our boxes. The Ilikai is within walking distance of the main CBD but a Waikiki trolley pass is a good investment if you?re visiting with kids. Would recommend Waikiki beach rental...I will definitely be using them when I next visit Hawaii. "

Dealing with Waikiki Beach Rentals was very easy and straightforward, I simply looked through the available condos on the website for our dates of travel, chose a condo that suited, paid a deposit and then paid the balance prior to travel. Correspondence with Waikiki Beach Rentals was very quick, I received email confirmation immediately and a very detailed list of instructions regarding the condo. The whole process is quick and easy. Compared to prices of resort hotels in the area, we paid a very reasonable amount and the condo was perfect for us with great views over the city area and spotlessly clean. Having a full kitchen with all amenities is a huge money saver in Honolulu, it allows you to shop at the supermarkets and prep meals which for us was very convenient and allowed us to live like locals. The beds were so comfortable, we had plenty of space to move about the condo and we loved having a morning coffee on the balcony overlooking the city. The Ilikai is a beautiful complex, we used the pool, ate at the restaurant downstairs, caught buses down to the shopping mall right outside the building and were in walking distance to Waikiki and surrounds. There are always plenty of taxis outside the complex and the garden areas and lobby are beautifully maintained. I would highly recommend using Waikiki Beach Rentals and if we ever returned to Honolulu for another holiday, we would not hesitate to book through them again. Thank you Waikiki Beach Rentals!"

"Ilikai 1115 - Happy Customers. Loved the keypad for entry, just let ourselves into the unit after a late night arrival. All instructions in the unit and very clear to follow. Comfortable bed, didn't really need to use the AC very often, just kept the ceiling fan on. Unit was clean as well as the building common areas and poolside. Great location, walking distance to the Waikiki Strip amenities. Since no one was checking in after us we were allowed a courtesy late check out, greatly appreciated. Mahalo."

"Ilikai 1426 -I was initially hesitant to book online for our first trip to Hawaii being located in Australia was scary to say the least. However, I can’t believe how easy it was to book the condo we stayed in. From first booking to last communication the whole process was flawless. It was mum and mine's milestone birthdays so we chose something with a few more creature comforts and Ilikai certainly didn't disappoint. The photo's looked very inviting and the views were sensational. We spent a lovely 10 days here with pretty good weather. The apartment on arrival was fresh and very inviting with big beautiful rooms. I booked the two bedroom as we both like to have our own space and the rooms were simply devine. Enough space to un pack our clothes and plenty of towels to last us the whole week. There were even beach towels available. The only feedback id suggest is to have a tiny waste basket available in the bathroom. The views we each had were amazing. One side being beach and boat view and the other out looking over the city and the mountain in the distance. The added bonus of the city view was I got a first row seat of the Hiltons lei show next door. The full sized fridge and kitchen sold us on this apartment and the shower bath combo was lovely. The rooms have plenty of space and with their own ensuites were great. The location of ilikai is within walking distance to everything, as were are both avid walkers we found this to suit us perfectly, however if you don't like walking there are many transport options right outside the door. We loved the access to the pool area and also the pool elevator meant we could travel up to our rooms without having to stand with the other people in the normal elevators. Also a handy tip during the busy times. Its only a tiny walk to the hilton lagoon and the beach almost on our door step. The restaurant down stairs made some very delicious meals for a good price and delicious cocktails. However, we didn't eat here much as we tried to experience many of the food options around us. We thoroughly enjoyed the pizzas at round table down in the Hilton village and you must stop and get an ice cream from Lappert’s for desert. As I booked a privately owned condo, we didn't really need to chat or talk to any staff on arrival. However, I made the mistake to not book an early check in so we waited at least four hours for our room. The concierge was happy to hold our bags while we went to explore. The people of Oahu are some of the nicest most friendliest people i have met while travelling. I couldn't have imagined a more relaxing stay and wouldn't hesitate to book here again. We thoroughly enjoyed it here at Ilikai and will return again one day. Thank you for everything and your hospitality. Mahalo nui loa"

Great and safe idea with the press button security lock on the door. Ala Moana was just 10 minutes walk, waikiki was 20 minute walk, and the restaurants around were really lovely. Especially the Red Lobster, great food, price and staff were very friendly. Could not fault anything about this place. The view was perfect everyday, we had breakfast on the balcony every morning. "Ilikai 2020 - We recently stayed a week (02/10-17/2018) in this lovely condo. I can't say enough about this place we called our home away from home for the week. It was beautifully decorated and immaculate. It had an amazing kitchen and bathroom. The best part was the oceanfront views and of the lagoon from the lanai. It was exactly as I had hoped it would be and more. The easy keyless access to our rental without having to check in, made it so easy upon arriving late in the evening, we just went straight up to our room. The Ilikai itself had a great resort feel to it. The pool was nice and the restaurant was good for all meals. The staff at the Ilikai are absolutely amazing and very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect to be able to walk to everything. It was an easy 15 minutes stroll all the way to the end of Waikiki Beach. There is lots of eating places close by and a ABC store across the street. Everything was easy accessible from the condo. One final comment...we would come back and stay here again without hesitation...we had an amazing time here!"

We specifically chose a unit in this stack, overlooking the marina, because it doesn't get the blazing sun as we don?t like to use air conditioning but we can enjoy beautiful sunsets. The condo is updated and very clean with a well equipped kitchen (even a rice cooker). This is the first year we realized they have a lovely wading pool on the 2nd floor. If you don?t feel the need to do laps, this is a great alternative. Lovely lounges in the pool to stay cool and lots of umbrellas if you need shade."

"Ilikai 626 - We rented 4 rooms for a family reunion. I had the most people staying with me so got a 2 bedroom condo and the rest of the families got one bedroom. It was perfect. Our condo became the gathering place for all 20 of us for dinners (it had a full kitchen with ice maker) and a dishwasher and we had plenty of room. The balcony was a great place to hang out. Our room actually had two balconies but we never used the second one. Probably because it didn?t overlook the ocean like the other one. We watched the sun set from our balcony. It was beautiful. The room had air conditioning but we didn?t always need it with the breeze. The second bedroom is really not a bedroom so if privacy is a must you might want to get two separate rooms. It is just two beds with a pullover accordion type partition. It worked out fine for us. The employees were about as chill as could be. Very accommodating and overall just as nice as can be. The two pools we used were awesome. The lounge pool is great for small children and your chairs can be right in the water. The other pool was great for swimming. It was heated and awesome for December. I would go back and stay in a heartbeat! "

"Ilikai 2016 - Aloha - I had the pleasure of staying in this condo for a week from 28 Oct to 4 Nov 2017. It is a very clean and tidy condo with a balcony that has amazing views over the two pools at the Ilikai, across to the lagoon and the ocean, and a slightly obstructed view of Diamond Head. You get a ringside seat to the nightly luau at the Hilton Hawaiian Village and for the Friday night fireworks at the lagoon. There are 4 chairs and a table for use on the balcony. It was great to turn on the air conditioning on the warmer days when we returned from shopping or the beach. But opening up the huge glass sliding doors every morning was a great way to start the day. The condo has two comfy double beds and pillows. I was holidaying with my sister and sister in law and they chose to share a bed rather than use the sofa bed, so I can?t comment on the comfort level of that but the sofa itself was comfortable. The bathroom was stocked with plenty of towels and two beach towels for our use. We had our own anyway so didnt need to use them but they were of a good size. A generous fridge stores all your groceries and a full size oven and microwave meet your cooking/reheating needs. We ate out so didnt use this, but could see if being used on a longer stay. The wardrobe had plenty of hangars and a set of 12 drawers was plenty of space to unpack our suitcases. There are two washers and dryers on each floor - $2.50 in quarters will do a generous load of laundry and same again will get it dry for you. I highly recommend this condo as a great place to stay and will definitely be rebooking in the future. Mahalo!"

"Ilikai 1733 - 1733 was the best of the 4 units we have rented in Ilikai. We just loved the feeling we were in a home and not a 'staged' condo. Susan, I have this mental picture of you, a very keen (if not professional) cook/chef - concluded to because of the amount of cook books on the shelves. I relate to this as I have many many cook books at home. I loved some of the old recipe books with hand writing in them. Your kitchen and implements etc also indicated that many amazing meals have been produced over the years. The selection of glasses (mugs for many!) was incredible. The decor was just lovely, the AC perfect and the envy of our friends who had rented a condo (2 bed/bath suite on level #14 (3 times the $$$ of 1733). We always choose the sunset side as our preference is for the sun in the late afternoon, the evenings of watching over the pool next door and mariner, always with the glass of wine and the setting sun. We had a fully equipped kitchen for meals, 2 balconies and 2 toilets. Only let down is if you stay in a privatetly owned condo, Reception won't help you much because apparently they only look after hotel guests not privately owned condo guests (Hotel units are almost double the price, The concierge will assist everyone). Other than that location was awesome and lots of buses stop there so you're never waiting for more than 10mins. Everything you ever need is just a few steps away. Beach, shops, pool... you name it. My father who is a Vietnam Veteran that wanted to go to Pearl Harbor but it was sold out. Rhonda at the concierge desk without me asking pulled a favor and got 3 tickets on the morning of the 4th of July. The Pearl Harbor experience was touching and unforgettable just like my experience in Ilikai room 712 at the Ilikai. I would recommend this site for people with disabilities, families, romantic getaways, just everybody because it was awesome!!! My last tip about this vacation would be is to make sure you have your dates together before booking and get vacation insurance if possible because speaking from personal experience because things happen and vacationers should not expect the owners to be responsible for those things and get their money back after booking. "Ilikai 835 - We stayed in this condo in June 2017 and found it just as beautiful as the pictures, apart from the view....this was even more beautiful. Waking up with the amazing view of the ocean, marina and beaches from the bed was incredible. The condo had everything we wanted. We chose it because it had both a king size bed and a double sofa bed, an accordion partition that could be used to separate the bedroom from the sofa- TV -kitchen area and a dishwasher. It was very clean, and the white theme looked very fresh and beachy. The location in the Ilikai Hotel was amazing as well. Just steps to see the Friday Hawaiian Hilton fireworks and surf lessons. A 10 minute walk down the road leads to the Ala Moana mall and Foodland grocery store. The mini-mart/ gift shop in the hotel lobby has just about anything you could want, without making the trip to a full sized grocery store. The kitchen was well supplied with everything needed for cooking, from stove top, oven to microwave, toaster, electric kettle, blender, and George Foreman grill, along with all the pots & pans, crockery and cutlery necessary. We were lucky to get an early check in for $35 and a free late check out until 8pm. Both pools were nice for a dip, but it is just steps from the Hawaiian Hilton lagoon and the beach. All in all we would stay here again if we have the chance. "

"Ilikai 626 - Condo was as described. Excellent location. Accommodations and location make the condo a good buy. Little grocery store (think it was called Food Pantry) within walking distance- about 2-3 blocks. ABC stores were close by too but grocery had better selection. Saturday Farmers Market was fun. I read a lot of reviews ( for numerous units ) and thought you could see the Friday night fireworks from all of the condos- but it's not visible from all. You need to go downstairs and walk toward the lagoon area to view. Can't wait to go back !"
