Ilikai Unit 1120 See all reviews for this condo

A wonderful place to stay. Condo was clean and very well equipped. Loved the view from the lanai. Enjoyed our stay here. Condo is located in the Ilikai and is ideally located to access everything (very walkable). We will look to book this condo again when returning to Honolulu.

Ilikai 1120 - The unit is great, description was accurate. The check-in & check-out process was awesome, no delay or wait! The property management company is very responsive!!! We had a water leak from the bathroom sink on day 2 and a maintenance person came over to the unit and fix the problem same day (wanna say within 4 hours that we notified them). Cleanliness I would rate 4.5/5 only because the refrigerator was not properly cleaned, although it was empty there were visible dirt in the interior (drawer, door shelves) but nothing that we cannot clean ourselves (but I expected it to be cleaned upon our arrival). Great view of Hilton, lagoon and you can see the surfers in the ocean. I am pleased with the location, walking distance to Waikiki beach, several restaurants, Ala Moana Shopping Center & International Market place (15-20min walk). The building’s (NOT THE CONDO UNIT) daily cleanliness can be improved.. there were some trash/dirt in the hallway outside our condo on the last 3-4 days of our stay (we stayed in this condo for 9 days), it doesn’t look like someone cleans the hallway on a daily basis. If you have heavy traffic, vacuuming the area even once a day would make a big difference to make it more cleaner. Having a washer/dryer in each floor is also a good. Overall I have recommended and will recommend this place to family & friends! In fact we are already planning our next trip and we will be staying at Ilikai again. Probably not in this same unit 1120 because we need a 2BR condo however YES I would stay in this unit again if we only need a studio/1BR condo.

Ilikai 1120 - What a great place! Perfect for us to retreat to at the end of a long day. For us, being slightly out of the main center was a blessing. This distance was only a 10 min walk made all the easier by having trolley bus stops outside the building.

Ilikai 1120 - We have stayed at the Ilikai three times and this time we stayed in Unit 1120 for 12 nights and it was great. The pictures on the website were exactly how the condo was described. It was clean and comfortable with an amazing view of the ocean and lagoon. It was perfect for sitting out on the lanai for breakfast, we could even see the Luau at the Hilton next door and the fireworks which take place every Friday night. The location is so convenient. Walking distance to a couple of ABC stores, Ala Moana shopping centre and beach park and the pink trolley to Waikiki stops right in front of the Ilikai. There is also a convenient store located on the ground floor of the building. We really enjoyed our stay here. Thank you.

Ilikai 1120 - We had a wonderful time, everything was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the options of which pool to go to. The fireworks on Friday night were wonderful. We would definitely say here again. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay in unit 1120 at the Ilikai. The cost was 1/2 of renting a similar room through the hotel. Having a kitchen was great as we'd been eating out the entire previous week, so it was nice to at least have breakfast and a couple of lunches at "home"--saved a lot of money this way as well. We found the room to be very clean and everything we needed was provided (towels, beach towels, dish soap, etc.). The bed was very comfortable. Our balcony was great--ocean view with great sunsets, plus we even had a view of a performance stage and saw a polynesian performance with live music on our first night. The hotel lobby had a shop where you could get basic groceries which was convenient. The pool was small, but was heated, and the lounge chairs had comfortable cushions, plus pool towels were provided. If you like to order cocktails by the pool, however, you'll be disappointed. There was no bar service. You had to bring your own drinks (even water). The hotel itself was a bit dated, but our room was newly renovated so that wasn't an issue. Location-wise, we were right next to the Hilton Hawaiian village lagoon which is great if you have kids. Plus the beach is a few minutes walk. It was about a 15-min walk to the main shopping/restaurant/beach area which was ok. Plus it's about a 10-min walk to the main shopping mall in the other direction. We would definitely stay here again. We were able to get a late check-out on our last day as our flight didn't leave until 7pm. Enjoy!

We have returned from our stay of 5 weeks in Unit 1120 and loved every minute of it. The unit is just as advertised. The view was amazing and we sat on the lanai with our morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. The location was perfect and we enjoyed walks around Magic Island, to Ala Moana and into Waikiki for Happy Hours (P.F. Changs was excellent for Happy Hours - good appetizers/pupus), shopping, etc. Everything was within walking distance so a car isn't necessary unless you choose to rent one to tour the island. I would recommend the Saturday/Sunday Swap Meet as a great place to get gifts, etc. and we took the bus there and back. Made in Hawaii soaps, jewellery and 100% Kona coffee were much better prices than in Waikiki. We went to the beach in front of the Hilton every day and it is so beautiful. We shopped for our groceries where many of the locals shop, Don Quijote, where prices and selection are great. We really appreciated the free calling to Canada and the keyless entry door was so easy not having to worry about having a key along.

Our stay in unit #1120 greatly surpassed our expectations. The condo was clean and spacious, with all the necessities of home. We had a generous supply of towels, soap, & the full kitchen saved us money that we would have spent on breakfast and lunches. Our unit had spectacular view of the ocean, lagoon & the condo is a great place to enjoy pre-dinner drinks, Friday night fireworks & access to a less populated beach. We could walk from our end of Waikiki to activities we wanted to do on the other end within 30 minutes. Having Ala Moana Shopping Center for groceries, shopping, and food was also a money saving benefit. This was our 3rd visit to Oahu & it was a pleasant change to staying at high priced hotels and resorts. We feel that the condo gave us more space and food options and allowed us to splurge on island excursions & dinners. We didn't get that overcrowded, over commercialized sensation that comes along with hotels & resorts. Staff was always easily accessible & willing to accommodate. The bar staff at Sarento's were fantastic. They made happy hour very happy for us & Mr Magic waved his magic on a stack of cards that made the whole experience magic I would recommend The Ilikai Hotel and this company to anyone traveling to this part of Hawaii. Thank you!

Our stay at the Ilikai through the site was superb. We stayed on the 11th floor, logoon side ocean views. I never bother writing reviews, but because the experience was so good I had to write something, so that I could help others be comfortable making the right decision. To begin with, I like the process of paying upfront. This means you don't have to give credit card details, and know exactly how much your up for - easier to budget. Upon receipt of payment you are emailed codes to the room, plus internet passwords. I love the key-less entry to your room, I think this is a great idea and means you dont have to worry about losing cards or them not working. I also like not having to check in with the front desk, the entire process is seamless, when you arrive you can shoot straight up to your room, no line ups, nothing, and upon arriving, the codes worked, the internet worked, and the room looked exactly like the pictures. And the views are simply breathtaking...... nice big balcony, we were very impressed and were beaming with excitement of the prospect of spending 3 weeks here. The entire stay was a dream. Everything went smoothly. Our stay was for 3 weeks, so eating out every night was not an option. Luckily the apartment is walking distance to the big shopping centre, I did a few trips there to buy food, which saved money on eating out. The kitchen is well stocked, and we cooked up some nice meals, eating them from the nice big balcony. There are plenty of restaurants around there if your feeling lazy too. There are plenty of lifts in the hotel, and they are fast, which means no down time waiting when moving to and from your room. I required a fast reliable internet connection, the rooms have wired and wireless connections, and for the entire time we didnt have any problems servicing 2 laptops. Scott was always available on the phone, and was prompt and happy to answer any queries. On our last day our flight didn't leave until 10pm, so he was nice enough to organize a late check out of 8pm!!! What a legend, and thanks again Scott. In addition there is an excellent surf break right outside the doorstep of ilikai. Each morning I would brew up some Kona coffee from the coffee machine in the room (yum yum) drink it on the balcony and marvel at the consistent surf. It would take me literally 5minutes to be in the surf from the room, and every day i would spend at least 2 hours in the water. I found the locals who surfed there very friendly, so long as you respect general surf rules and are nice to them (which isn't hard to do, cause they are so friendly). We are loved our stay at the Ilikai and will be doing it again for sure. Aloha!
