Ilikai 1540 - Loved our recent stay in Unit 1540, and our only complaint is a week wasn't long enough. The room was the perfect size for two , with the very quirky, cool surfboards hanging from the roof and skateboards on the wall. The beds were super comfie, and made for a great nights sleep . The only not so good thing was the bed base, which stuck out , and I ended up with a massive bruise on my leg from hitting it every time i got something out of the wardrobe. The beach towels could do with an update and some nice wine glasses would be great, as there was two totally different plastic glasses in the cupboard. Other than that the room was fabulous and views sensational. The perfect spot , away from the crazy madness of downtown but easy walking distant to everything. The restaurant downstairs made yummy cocktails and I had a great steak there...and the coffee shop was an added bonus. Will definitely be back and will highly recommend. Mahalo Hawaii
Check in with key code was easy and fun the whole stay! View is breath taking day and nite. Set up as a beach cabin in Hawaii, clean and cute. Plenty of room for family of five, we got one extra bedding set for one grandson. Bus service right outside, only $1.00 if your a senior or disabled. Not crowded at all, very peaceful all around the Iliki.Full and stocked with all untensils for home cooked meals, abc store and McDonald's right across street.pool was great and all the staff very helpful! Lagoon at the Hilton was fun for the grandsons. This was a perfect place to call home.
I booked this condo (Ilikai 1540) mostly because of the view and the sliding partition. Note the partition door only divides half the space but it was enough to split my kids apart at night. We loved this condo. It's clean and modern and has everything you could possibly need apart from drawers which would have been handy. We were lacking linen for the sofa bed so I phoned the number we were given and a man showed up in 10 minutes with sheets. The Ilikai is away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki Beach but a 20 minute walk away if you need it. Would definitely stay here again.
