The open-air lobby and relaxing courtyard of the Ilikai lead to a pathway to the beach. The original monkey pod tree, planted by the original builder, Chinn Ho, and Duke Kahanamoku, the most famous Hawaiian surfer, world champion swimmer and Hawaiian ambassador to the world, stills stands in the beautiful garden courtyard of the Ilikai.
An Extraordinary Location: The Ilikai serves as a convenient base for vacationing singles, friends, couples, families and business people. You can't beat the location. It is just steps to the Duke Kahanamoku lagoon and the white sands of Waikiki beach; it is one of the only ocean front properties on the ocean side of the main road in Waikiki.
The Ilikai is located between the 5 star Hilton Hawaiian Village and the wonderful Ala Moana Beach Park. There are dozens of restaurants, shops and attractions within easy walking distance, including the Hilton Village, the Ala Moana shopping center and Lewars Street, Waikiki.

(Ilikai) Unit Number 2030 - My family and I stayed in 2028 and 2030 at the Ilikai during our visit to Hawaii - what a great experience! Everything was seamless as all the information was made available to us before our check in, rooms were clean and ready for us to enjoy. On top of that, we got the early check in for a small fee which made the first day there a lot easier! Both condos had GREAT views and were very close to the elevator. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone!!
(Ilikai) Unit Number 2030 - My husband, 1 year old daughter and I stayed in apartment 2030 for 10 days in March 2014, booked through WaikikiBeachRentals.com. The condo was recently updated and the decor is contemporary and hotel-standard. All amenities necessary to self-cater, and a coin operated laundry on the same floor. We could not have been happier with the value for money. Studio size, but still fit a king size bed, separate lounge area and full size kitchen - with the added bonus of wall to wall windows out to the balcony and the amazing views. We ate most of our meals out on the balcony while watching the world go by - at the lagoon and marina! Such a nice way to relax. Definitely loved the unobstructed views of the Hilton fireworks from the balcony! What a bonus. Location is excellent - so close to Ala Moana centre for shopping and budget friendly food; right on the lagoon and beach which is just fabulous, and was not overcrowded. Transport at the doorstep, so quite easy to take a bus down to the hustle and bustle of Waikiki, if you don't feel like walking. Soooo quiet - unlike staying in the heart of Waikiki where you seemingly cannot escape the noise. Bed was very comfortable. We felt well-rested here, in our little oasis. Right next door to the Hilton Hawaiian village which we also found good for different family friendly dining options. Booking through WaikikiBeachRentals.com was easy and the service provided by Bert the cleaner was also friendly and efficient. Fantastic value - looking at returning sometime in 2016!
(Ilikai) Unit Number 2030 - We had such a great time staying in this room. Everything was available for us to use and clean. The view was amazing. This was our second time staying at the Ilikai and stayed in a different room but both times it has been wonderful. We asked for a late check out and it made coming home that much easier for packing since our flight left in the late afternoon. I have been recommending family and friends to this place since finding it a year ago.
(Ilikai) Unit Number 2030 - Great room. Loved the location and simple access. Very clean and well maintained. We had a fantastic time. Mahalo
(Ilikai) Unit Number 2030 - A great place to stay I enjoyed it so much I want to go back and will be staying there again.
(Ilikai) Unit Number 2030 - 32 degrees celcius) .We love the sun but were glad we had afternoon shade so could sit on balcony and rest our over baked suntanned skin. Great view, great pool, lovely BIG bed and BIG Fridge/Freezer. What ever you do NOT buy any duty free as Alcohol over here is extremely cheap. Beer $12 Doz. approx. Jack Daniels 1.75Ltr approx. $36.00 and that's from Wal-Mart/Foodland’s/ABC (we will be getting our take home grog and tobacco from here, Hawaii). Foodland’s /Wal-Mart/Don Quixote/Ala Moana Shopping Centre were a 15 - 20 min walk or a cheap taxi fare (your choice) Coming from NZ we got a taxi to Ilikai Condos ($32 approx.) which is about the same cost as a shuttle with no shuttle hassles going to other hotels etc .We landed 9.30 pm and got to condo unit 11.30pmish.Walked 3 minutes over to the .ABC store and got milk, bread, etc. Stayed 6 days, and then went on a 7-day cruise on Pride of America. Taxi to cruise pier 2 from Ilikai was appx $20.00.Tipping tips .... starts from 15%.up to you what you choose. Don’t forget to visit Weikele premium shopping outlets, good shopping. We back from cruise and staying in room 2122 for 9 days so will give feedback on this room later in the week.
(Ilikai) Unit Number 2030 - Ilikai condo 2030 was better than we ever anticipated! It was our 3rd stay at Ilikai and without a doubt our most memorable, from the time we booked to the time we checked out the owner was great to deal with. The condo has recently been renovated and it looked better in real life, the finer touches to the room made it all worthwhile along with the little things such as extra bath towels, enough cooking appliances, a good air conditioner and the beach towels (which we just happened to forget to pack when we left Australia). The bed was comfy and spacious, the view was awesome and the overall feel of condo made us feel at home after travelling for 3 weeks. Will definitely be coming back to this condo next time we are in Waikiki. Thanks guys!
(Ilikai) Unit Number 2030 - We had a beautiful time in Honolulu and enjoyed staying in your Ilikai condo #2030. It had everything we needed and the upgrades were nicely done. Will definitely stay there again when we visit Hawaii. Walked along Waikiki beach and to the Ala Moana Shopping Centre.
(Ilikai) Unit Number 2030 - My husband and I stayed in room #2030 for twelve days in October and it was wonderful. It was immaculate with a gorgeous view of Diamond Head and the Hilton Lagoon. The condo was spacious with a great kitchen supplied with a coffee maker, dish soap, paper towels, pots and pans and cutlery. The only appliance in the kitchen that needed an upgrade would be the toaster. It was very weak for a couple that loves their toast every morning. No big deal though. The mattress on the bed was so comfortable after long days of walking and excursions we slept just great. The bathroom was big, great hair dryer but one of the beach towels was pink with a picture of a lady bug on it. Not a towel my husband wanted to show off. Luckily, we brought our own towels.Besides this small issue, towel, toaster, the condo was awesome and we would book the same room in a heartbeat. Having one's personal door code and no key or card was also a bonus not having to worry about anything getting lost or stolen.Waikikioceanfrontrentals has a great thing going on with superb rooms and great service. Thanks for the wonderful vacation
(Ilikai) Unit Number 2030 - Aloha, I just wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful time in your condo at the Ilikai 2030. Watching the fireworks from the balcony was spectacular. I would highly recommend your unit. Thank you
(Ilikai) Unit Number 2030 - Our stay in unit #2030 greatly surpassed our expectations. The condo was clean and spacious, with all the necessities of home. We had a generous supply of towels, soap, and paper products. The touch pad deadbolt lock system was an unexpected luxury, as we did not have to keep track of a hotel key. The full kitchen saved us a ton of money that we would have spent on breakfast and lunches. Our unit had spectacular ocean, lagoon, Diamond Head, and city views. After traveling for over 12 hours from Georgia, our condo allowed us the unexpected pleasure of spending our first night enjoying a bird's eye view of the Hilton's rooftop luau! The condo is a great place to enjoy pre-dinner cocktails, Friday night fireworks, and access to a less populated beach. We could walk from our end of Waikiki to activities we wanted to do on the other end within 30 minutes. Having Ala Moana Shopping Center for groceries, shopping, and food was also a money saving benefit. This was my 4th visit to Oahu and it was a pleasant change to staying at high priced hotels and resorts. I feel that the condo gave us more space and food options and allowed us to splurge on island excursions and dinners. We didn't get that overcrowded, over commercialized sensation that comes along with hotels and resorts. Even if we did want a little of that, all we had to do was walk next door to the Hilton where this is in excess. Scott at Waikiki Oceanfront Rentals was always easily accessible and willing to accommodate. Our flight left at 9pm and the free late checkout option was a lifesaver. Scott allowed us to stay in the condo all the way up until we had to leave for the airport that evening. This gave us more time to enjoy Waikiki before we had to leave. We could never get that at a hotel. We have such wonderful memories of our 5th wedding anniversary on Oahu and the accommodations by through the WaikikiOceanfrontRentals.com website had a lot to do with that. I would recommend The Ilikai Hotel and the units on this website to anyone traveling to this part of Hawaii. Thank you!
