This Luxury Oceanfront condo on 12th floor with great overviews looking towards the West shore of the island. The Yacht Harbor and Marina are below you, with views out to Ewa Beach off the patio...the gorgeous Hawaiian sunsets are a must to end the day while relaxing on the private lanai!
This unit was completely remodeled. It is tastefully decorated with photos, paintings, and comfortable furniture (including a wicker clothes dresser, king size bed and a love seat that could sleep an a child).
The bathroom was refurbished with a granite shower with sink, faucets & mirrors.
The rest of the amenities include an executive kitchen complete with silverware, oven, stove, microwave, fridge, rice cooker, electric tea kettle, blender, pots, pans and featuring granite countertops, breakfast bar and built-in appliances.
The unit also provides a modern work desk with free WiFi internet access for your use. A large flatscreen LCD TV is present along with DVD and cable TV for your enjoyment when you want a break from beach.
Did we mention the best part: location? Outside the Ilikai lies a part of Waikiki known as "Bowls," a known area for surfing. Surfboard rentals and lessons are available on the spot. Just steps from Waikiki Beach, there is a sheltered swimming lagoon right next to the condo, with SUP/kayak and paddleboat rentals available. Ala Moana Beach Park and Magic Island (great swimming beach for kids, and fishing) are across the yacht harbor, about a 7 minute walk. A free fireworks show also occurs every friday in Waikiki at 745pm!
The Hawaii Convention Center is only three blocks away. 3 walkable blocks in the opposite direction is Ala Moana Center (a huge shopping mall with luxury stores as Yves San Laurent and Gucci). Starbucks, McDonalds and Subway, along with two very nice local restaurants and a sushi snack shop is directly across the street, along with Red Lobster and Outback Steak House (you can eat for days without ever leaving the neighborhood). Should you wish to venture out of Waikiki, freeway access is a short 10 minutes away.

Great Parking Options for (Ilikai) Guests
The Ilikai back foyer has a ramp that drops you right on the lagoon on the ocean side. You can park free on the left side during the day for up to 6 hours. These spaces always fill up with surfers during the day but open up throughout the day. There is no parking after 10:30pm in the free parking area. All cars are towed right at 10:30pm sharp so don't forget your car there.
Directly across from the free parking spaces there are numbered paid parking stalls that you can use for $1 an hour. Park in any stall and purchase your ticket from the machine at the entrance to the lot by can choose any amount of hours you want. You can choose any amount of hours you want for your stall. The machines take cash and credit cards.
Valet parking is available 24/7 and is $45 a day with in/out privileges, of course you must tip for each time. Please check the rate on arrival. No reservations needed. Just arrive anytime and valet staff is on duty.
The bell captain or valets can assist you with your bags and deliver them to your room when you arrive or when you leave. Tip is usually $1-$2 per bag.
If you wish to rent an underground parking stall on a monthly basis, the rate is $250 a month, minimum stay of 2 months (based on availability) to qualify plus a $25 non refundable activation fee. Make sure upon arrival you ask valet about this. Sometimes the hotel will not offer long-term parking so best to call the hotel directly if you need this.
Across the street on the west side on Hobron Lane is Red Lobster. There is a parking garage located there that offers parking for $28 per day. Please check rates upon arrival.
(Ilikai) Unit # 1235 - I've stayed at Ilikai dozens of times over the years, but unit 1235 was the overall winner. Clean clean clean, comfortable comfortable comfortable, and just plain perfect. The "sunset" view over Marina Yacht Harbor from the huge balcony was fabulous. And, if you like "uninvited company" you will enjoy the dozens of Java finches that greet you in morning and late afternoon. Added bonus is the convenience store in lobby where you can grab a wide variety of food items or souvenirs. And there are TWO pools...not just one! The valet parking is run efficiently and expertly by Elite, and their staff are courteous and kind. Cinnamons has great breakfasts, cocktails and dinner. Definitely not your usual hotel fare.
(Ilikai) Unit # 1235 - Unit #1235 was perfect. Clean, modern, a joy to come back to and sleep on comfortable bed. Slept with balcony doors open, never needed a/c. View of Marina yachts incl fabulous sunsets. Definitely would stay here again.
(Ilikai) Unit # 1235 - My husband and I loved this condo. It was very comfortable with a huge bed, decent sized kitchen and bathroom, and an amazing view of the marina!! Very clean, and well set up with spare towels and bedding if required. We were sad to leave but will hopefully rebook in a years time. Thank you!
